Where are you from?
I was a Navy brat when I was young, so I was born in Connecticut and then moved to south Georgia where my little sister was born. My mother and father had separated by this time so I got the opportunity to travel to Maryland during the summers. After living in south Georgia I lived in Charleston, SC for a few years. In 2003 my father retired from the Navy and we settled in the North Georgia Mountains in a little town called Ellijay. You may know it for the Apple Festival or chicken farming. I now live in Kennesaw, GA where I am going to school to get my Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing.
My favorite place I have lived was Germantown, MD. I loved being close enough to the Chesapeake to get fresh blue crabs on a whim and for the fresh, scratch-made food at the Amish Market that was nearby.
Tell us a bit about your professional background. How did you arrive at TCM/BRG?
My professional background deals exclusively with customer service. I have worked in various customer service settings such as grocery stores, restaurants, and offices. Working at Tolley Community Management has given me the opportunity to build a great base of knowledge in the Real Estate world and I am so thankful that I get to work with such a tight-knit group of people.
What’s most gratifying about your position?
Externally, I love having the opportunity to help people solve big problems within their community. Knowing that I have helped with a major issue within a community lets me know that I am making a positive impact on one or many people’s days.
Internally, the best part of my job is working with the people I get to work with. In customer service some days are harder than others, but having such a wonderful support system behind me makes every difficult step in the learning process much easier.
How long have you been at TCM/BRG?
I am a fairly new member of the team as I started in September 2015. That being said, I have learned an incredible amount of information in my time here.
What was your favorite moment at TCM/BRG and why?
So far my favorite moment has been the annual TCM/BRG Christmas Party. It was a great bonding experience getting to see everyone with their work hats off and their celebration hats on!
What do you like to do for fun?
Outside of work I love experimenting with makeup and fashion, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family.
Tell us about your family:
I have a complicated family to say the least. My parents are separated and both remarried. I have three brothers and three sisters. Family events are quite interesting but always fun!
